Research opportunities in the Neurocircuitry & Cognition Lab @ FIU

Join our research team! Opportunities are currently available for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. If you are interested in cutting-edge electrophysiology, viral-based circuit manipulations including optogenetics and DREADDs, learning and memory, dementia, ADHD and/or schizophrenia the lab welcomes your application.

Applications for undergraduate research assistants will be considered on a rolling basis, but space is extremely limited. Successful applicants tend to have a GPA of 3.5 or better, with their best grades in science courses, and have the goal of going onto to graduate school in neuroscience. We are especially interested in students with experience doing signal process analysis in MATLAB.
